Bye M’uru. Hi Kil’jaedan.

Finally downed M’uru last night for my server’s Alliance first kill. Overall was a fun fight and although they nerfed it, the encounter was fun both pre-nerf and post. I couldn’t be any more proud of my fellow guildies. I will say to all of you Paladins, granted only two of you get to go per M’uru kill, healing the main tank is, at first a real pain in the ass but once you and your MT figure out how to position yourselves, pick up sentinals, move with each other you’ll get the hang of it.

Another tip is that if you’re packing a nice amount of spell haste (I’ve got 286), you need to make sure you heal the tank with Rank 8 Holy Light and a mixture of ranks 10 and 11. Rank 11 being for the heavy damage. Spamming some very fast, max rank Flash of Lights between the Sentinel spawns will help keep your tank topped off while he runs around.

F*** M’uru

Well actually, F*** Entropius. 8% wipe. Healing this fight is probably the hardest job I’ve ever been given in my entire raiding “career”. You can’t sneeze. You can’t blink. You can’t take your eyes off of the main tank for a second. Anyway, hopefully we can beat this particular guild to killing him and snag an Alliance-Server First kill tomorrow night.

Sunwell, 8/8 and Corrupt Ex-GM’s.

Yes, what a mouthful! A quick summary since I don’t have the energy or time to go in depth. About 2 months ago I felt a need to jump to a more mature guild, not to mention I had this growing feeling that my GM (Amazed/Titharenko) was going to fuck the entire guild over at any given moment.

So, with that eerie thought paired with our lack of progression — I left Cloverfield and joined one of the top Alliance guilds on Frostmane, Dragonflight. Shortly after leaving Cloverfield I come to find out that Mr. Amazed the GM has been selling Cloverfield’s Black Temple and Mount Hyjal raid ID’s to another top Alliance guild, pocketing the gold for his own selfish reasons. Now, he and I had a few talks when I was in the guild about him putting his account up for sale, checking how much it was actually worth — finding this out from my ex-guildies only supports my thoughts about him being crooked. Oh well. Onto bigger and much better things right?

Shield WOOT!

7 weeks later…it finally drops. Had the the gem and enchanting mats already sitting in my bags. Nice upgrade, not I don’t look like a ghetto pally! Bastion of Light!!!

Been a pretty lame week for raiding though. People are either quitting the game/guild or just outright not showing up. I guess that since it is indeed finals week for the teenie boppers in our guild as well as the college students that it’s somewhat understandable but it’s outright frustrating for us losers that work 9-5 and come home to raid. 

On a non-WoW note, closing on my condo in a few weeks. Will be nice to move in and have a place that I can call my own. Definitely going to be pimping out my “gaming station” 😉 LOL

 

Boss Updates…

Quicky post…we’re working on Bloodboil in BT, Archimonde in Hyjal. Things are going well so far. Unfortunately, our MT and a few other vital players can’t seem to get a stable connection. DC’s FTL.

Also, picked up the guild first T6 gloves the other night and now wishing my damn shield would drop off of Anatheron (or Supremus).

 

Kaz’rogal: The Boss that hates healers.

Once again, a boss fight that I absolutely hate. This big fella likes to cast a debuff that eats your mana and when you get to zero, you go boom boom. Anyway, we killed him last night on our 2nd attempt (the first attempt we took him to 1%). Honestly, I feel a little bit “left behind” since a lot of guilds killed this guy months ago and are already farming Black Temple but it’s been really nice killing new bosses.  Thus far, I’ve enjoyed Hyjal quite a bit. Anyway, heres the screenshot. Oh Lordy Lord!

Yep, back AGAIN. I think this time it’s for real. Back on my old server, Frostmane and in a pretty decent guild. I am basically picking up where I left off in terms of PVE but got my Shaman up to level 66 (from level 50). Enjoying the Shaman class due to the wonderful burst damage I can do however my Paladin will always (I promise) remain my #1. So, I’ve gotten a ton of requests for my UI. I know I said I’d package it but as always, it’s still in the works. I’d like to finalize it before I release it however seeing as there will be major UI changes in the upcoming 2.4 Patch I will be delay
